The Project Support Services Directorate (DSAP) is a support structure for funded research and institutional projects, concerning the planning and preparation of applications and the administrative and budgetary execution of projects, as foreseen in Article 7 of the Regulation of the Organic Structure of Universidade Aberta<\/a> (in portuguese).<\/p>\n Target Audience<\/strong> – Rectoral team, organizational units, research units, faculty and researchers of Universidade Aberta.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Projects Support Service<\/strong> is responsible for:<\/p>\n 1. Providing technical support in the preparation and submission of applications to national and international R&D programs, including applications for research project funding, advanced training support programs, and scientific employment;<\/p>\n 2. Monitoring and verifying compliance with the administrative and budgetary execution plan of all ongoing research projects, ensuring adequate communication with funding entities;<\/p>\n 3. Supporting project management, especially in the preparation and analysis of documentation related to budget execution and payment requests, as well as in the analysis of deviations and adjustments to plans;<\/p>\n 4. Supporting the launch of calls for research grant applications;<\/p>\n 5. Supporting the preparation of contracts within the scope of research projects;<\/p>\n 6. Collecting and disseminating information on national and international R&D funding programs;<\/p>\n 7. Managing applications and award processes for research prizes;<\/p>\n 8. To issue opinions on applications for support under the “Investigar+” funding mechanism, as well as to monitor and track the implementation of the allocated support;<\/p>\n 9. To support the activities of the Research and Development Evaluation and Improvement Committee.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The procedures relating to applications and projects must be oriented in accordance with Decree No. 207\/R\/2024<\/strong>.
