ATICA2021 & ATIAcces2021

The 12th International Congress on Application of Advanced Information and Communications Technologies (ATICA 2021) and the 8th International Conference on Application of Information and Communications Technologies to improve Accessibility (ATICAcces 2021) took place at Fundação Oriente, in Lisbon, Portugal last November, from the 24th to the 26th.

Both events took place within the Erasmus project “Technological assistance to accessibility in Virtual Higher Education – EduTech” and the 2021 edition was organized by the Universidade Aberta of Portugal (UAb) and the Universidad de Alcalá of Spain (UAH), as partners of the project.

ATICA 2021 and ATICAcces 2021 were introduced as an international forum for discussion on the responsibility of universities for quality education accessible to all, in which researchers, teachers, educators and students were able to share good practices and to present innovative ideas related to information and communication technologies (ICT), emerging technologies on the web, quality of higher education and virtual education.

The project EduTech is a Key Action 2 Erasmus project: cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices. It intends to support the modernisation, accessibility and internationalisation of higher education in the partner countries by contributing to their sustainable and inclusive socio-economic development and growth.
