Erasmus Staff Week 2025

Universidade Aberta hosted, from June 17 to 20, around three dozen representatives from European universities, in a week dedicated to international exchange under the Erasmus+ program.

During the week, participants from 21 institutions in 14 European countries – Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Spain, and Turkey – had the opportunity to get to know Universidade Aberta from the inside, its organization and its pedagogical model, meeting with representatives from organic units and services.

The program counted with the participation of professors and non-academic staff of Universidade Aberta, that contributed for the participants to have a deeper insight on teaching and learning issues at a distance education university like Universidade Aberta, as well as its organic structure and its most important concerns: research and open science; open educational resources; open repositories; quality, innovation and digital transformation; microcredentials; sustainability; multimedia production.

The week ended at Ceia Palace, the University headquarters, where participants visited the Multimedia and Digital Production Services and shared a brief testimony in video about their experience at Universidade Aberta of Portugal:
