Building on foundational research, this project leverages a lipopolysaccharide-induced model of neuroinflammation to understand optical coherence tomography (OCT) biomarkers of neurodegeneration. Combining advanced signal processing, machine learning, and biochemical analyses, we will explore the retina’s role in signalling central nervous system diseases. Our goal is the early detection of changes, potentially transforming the landscape of neurodegenerative disease management.
