No dia 24 de janeiro tem início a 2.ª edição do curso aberto online (MOOC), sob o tema “Peace Makers –  How to stop discrimination and enhance cultural dialogue”.

Esta edição tem a duração de 8 semanas e é ministrada em inglês.

Através da resolução de problemas, do pensamento crítico, da capacidade de trabalho colaborativo e de liderança, o curso pretende melhorar as competências sociais, cívicas e intelectuais para prevenir e combater a discriminação, o radicalismo e o racismo.

O MOOC foi desenvolvido no âmbito de uma parceria entre várias instituições: Koç University (Turquia); Universidade Aberta/CEMRI (Portugal); University of Bologna (Itália); Erasmus University Rotterdam (Países Baixos); Gaziantep University (Turquia) e Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Alemanha).

The 2nd edition of the open online course (MOOC) under the theme “Peace Makers – How to stop discrimination and enhance cultural dialogue”, begins on January 24th.

This edition lasts for 8 weeks and is taught in English.

Throughout problem solving, critical thinking, collaborative work and leadership skills, the course aims to improve social, civic and intellectual competences to prevent and fight against discrimination, radicalism and racism.

The MOOC was developed as part of a partnership between several institutions: Koç University (Turkey); Universidade Aberta/Center for the Study of Migration and Intercultural Relations (Portugal); University of Bologna (Italy); Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands); Gaziantep University (Turkey) and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany).
