The level tests assess the candidates’ foreign language skills and place them at the corresponding level, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe.
The tests take place online and last for 2 hours plus a 30-minute grace period.
The classification obtained in the level tests grants access qualifications to the course units of Language I, II, III, and IV. The level tests serve this purpose exclusively, not implying, in any case, the granting of any equivalence of academic qualifications.
In each academic year, requests to carry out level tests in a foreign language are made in two periods:
- August, 1 to 25
- January, 1 to 25
Candidates for degrees in which there are several foreign languages can apply for level testes in German, French, English, or Spanish language, using this form.
In case of cancellation or withdrawal, there is no refund of the amount paid for this purpose.
It is recommended to consult skills information regarding written comprehension and expression levels B1 and B2.
It is advisable to consult the Foreign Language Level Examination Regulation (see Regulations) and the price list in force in the corresponding academic year.
