The Mobility Program of the Portuguese-speaking Universities Association (AULP) is the first academic mobility program that exclusively covers the exchange of students between institutions in Portuguese-speaking countries: Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and East Timor.
The Portuguese-speaking community can now benefit from this pilot program, with the support of the AULP, which, in order to facilitate mobility and accreditation, defends the existence of information exchange, flexible curricula, transfer of credits, and the definition of credit and training activities.
Students from participating higher education institutions in AULP Mobility Programs have the opportunity to get to know 1 of the 9 Portuguese-speaking countries. Considering the e-learning pedagogical model in force at Universidade Aberta, mobility only happens in virtual mode, without physical displacement.
