Creditation of competencies refers always to an ongoing degree and may be required by students enrolled in that degree.
1st Cycle degrees
Students may request creditation by submitting this request form and the instruction table for requesting academic equivalences/credits on the dates below:
- Sepetember: from the 1st to the 15th
- February: from the 1st to the 15th
Please attach the documentation referred to in the Regulation of the Creditation of Academic and Professional Competencies at Universidade Aberta (see Regulations) – original documents or certified copies in USB drive are accepted.
2nd and 3rd Cycles degrees
Students have to request for creditation at the moment of the application, by means of a request addressed to the course coordinator, with the required documentation attached, as indicated in the Regulation of the Creditation of Academic and Professional Competencies at Universidade Aberta (see Regulations).
Students previously enrolled at Universidade Aberta may request internal equivalences to the course units in common.
Holders of a pre-Bologna degree
Please consult the Universidade Aberta’s Order defininig the conditions and requirements for the attribution of new academic degrees, in the same scientific areas as the previous formal degrees and a normal duration equal to or longer than the new study cycles.
